Food In the refrigerator  

  1. Keep the referegerator's door close as possible, to maintain it's coldness.
  2. keep some empty space at the referegerator for the cold air movement
  3. Place raw food in tightly wrapped plastic bags .
  4. At the referegerator : Place dry food above wet food
  5. Keep food at a safe temperatures.
  6. Keep hot food hot and cold food cold.
  7. Do not leave cooked food standing at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
  8. Reheat stored cooked food by bringing them to a boil
  9. Portion out excess cooked food after cooking and refrigerate quickly.
  10. Keep cold food in the refrigerator or on a bed of ice until it is time to serve.
  11. Thaw food safely in the refrigerator overnight.
  12. Marinate food safely in a covered bowl in the refrigerator.
