introductory workshop about rapid alert systems for food and feed held by ADFCA on July 8 at the Authority's premises. Among the invitees to the workshop were the members of the National Committee for Food Safety, representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Water, concerned food monitoring agencies, municipalities and other local and federal government bodies. Ahmed Kulaib Al Tunaiji and Ali Omar Abdullah of ADFCA, Khaled Sharif Al Iwadi of Dubai Municipality, Mohammed Al Bannai from Sharjah Municipality were among the senior officials who participated at the workshop and discussed the ways and means of mutual cooperation in the area of food safety and in setting up the rapid alert system across the emirates.
