ADFCA discusses development of Delma Island

WAM Abu Dhabi, Dec 29th, 2009 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has given approval for financial allocations increment in 2009 for the agricultural sector.

The board of directors of the Authority, at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also discussed the future vision of the livestock in the emirate until 2030.

The development of Delma Island, with particular emphasis on agriculture, fisheries and livestock was also discussed at the meeting which was also attended by HH Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chamberlain of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Chairman of the Higher Corporation of Specialised Economy (ZonesCorp).
